NBA free agency: Hawks, Pero Antic reportedly agree on 2-year deal

The Atlanta Hawks are set to bolster their depth in the frontcourt following the loss of Zaza Pachulia, as they have reached an agreement on a two-year deal with European big man Pero Antic. Misko Raznatovic, Antic's agent, broke the news early Wednesday morning, and Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress confirmed that the first year of the deal is fully guaranteed.
Antic, 30, played for Olympiacos last season, helping the Greek team win their second straight Euroleague championship. The 6'11 big man averaged 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game in the Euroleague, while he averaged 6.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game in the Greek League.
The Hawks have added quite a bit of international flavor this offseason, as in addition to Antic, they also drafted German point guard Dennis Schroeder and Brazilian big man Lucas Nogueira.
With Antic on board, the Hawks have some options with their roster. Jason Walker over at Peachtree Hoops says that the team could send Nogueria as well as second-round pickMike Muscala overseas in order to open up a bit more cap space.
