HOUSTON - Shawn Kemp was arrested and charged Friday with possession of marijuana, the latest drug-related trouble for the former NBA All-Star.

 
Kemp, 36, was arrested following a traffic stop for driving without a license plate shortly after midnight Friday. An officer with the Harris County Sheriff's Department pulled Kemp over and said he noticed the smell of burning marijuana coming from Kemp's vehicle.

The officer later found less than 2 ounces of the illegal drug in Kemp's possession. The six-time All-Star was released from the Harris County Jail after posting a $500 cash bond and faces a July 28 court appearance.

Kemp checked into a rehabilitation clinic for cocaine use in 2001. In April 2005, he was arrested for possessing small amounts of cocaine and marijuana in his truck.

After 14 seasons with the        Seattle SuperSonics,        Cleveland Cavaliers,        Portland Trail Blazers and        Orlando Magic, Kemp retired from the league in 2003 and now lives in Houston.

上次看他現場比賽，已經在拓荒者隊擔任替補，少了以往的爆發力和速度，在場上的Kemp簡直就跟遊魂一樣，根本不是昔日的野獸了。現在看他這樣跟那個Vin Baker相當，都被毒品、酒精害死了，也讓他們過去的精湛表演只能存在於球迷的回憶中。

 

本來還期待他會在丹佛金塊隊復出的......

我是比較不期待，他應該算是以往拿了肥約就xxx的代表。

毒品真的是碰不得，太多Easy Money還是別太早得到來的好。

我記得他有一堆小朋友，只是不知道他的小孩們看到自己老爸變成這樣心底不知道會怎樣想。

  以前超音速隊時，野獸般的爆發力，跟裴頓的空中接力灌籃，
  都讓我很難忘記，尤其與公牛隊打總冠軍賽時，應該是超音速隊的黃金時代吧!
  我記得銳跑以前出過他代言的鞋子"閃電鞋"，直到去騎士隊拿了肥約，
  人倒也真的肥起來，碰了毒品碰了酒，還不少的女人，唉~
  孩子多少個都不清楚，真的讓人傷心!

自從他領肥約卻打不出該有身價...

之後又搞出一堆狗屁倒灶的事：身材失控、吸毒、私生子.....

他晚節可說早就不保啦！

看看他之前的老搭檔手套兄到現在都還在球場馳騁

今年還拿到了夢寐以求冠軍戒

不知S.Kemp有何感想...........真讓人噓唏................

In my point of view.....marijuana doesn't mean anything.....

Do you guys know how much is 2 ounces? It's like 56 grams...like $300 US only(or less)...for heavy use people like Jabber or Kemp.....normally they will take like 2 grams per day....it is a month using dosage.

I am still a canada university student, we have the marijuana club in my school and scheduled every wednesday afternoon smoking meeting just outside the library.....many of them take like 2 grams a day as well..... and most of them...including me....still a good student , can play basketball still ok....and may be nothing bother them at all.

It really is not that serious for smoking pot..........lamar odom smoke, jabber smoke....actually may be every one in college would smoke.....just different culture only.If people study aboard and not smoking pot, it still normal, but please don't assume the western people smoking is kind of druggie.

現在這個話題演變成所謂毒品的定義

據我了解在歐洲和加拿大吸食大麻都是合法的

但是在美國尤其加州這邊仍然是列入禁品 儘管大麻確實有舒緩疼痛並廣泛被一些慢性病患依賴  但是在美國這邊的認定是 大麻是不合法的

NBA球員除了展現球技外 還有教育社會的責任存在 尤其他們大部分是青少年的偶像 他們的一舉一動都會左右青少年的想法  這也是為何NBA聯盟過去對球員的場內場外行為嚴加管制 管你情緒發洩丟球都是不可以的 更別談罵髒話或者在場外打老婆 扁女友或持槍恐嚇他人

因此NBA有教育社會的責任 違法的就是不可以 儘管抽大麻在海外可以 但是在美國就是不行  而KEMP被人抨擊的除了大麻這問題外 他在簽了肥約後表現的落差  和近年來不求上進大搞男女關係有關  大麻只是引用台灣政治術語   壓倒駱駝的最後一根稻草罷了

以後要回聯盟打球是不必想了

原本還到著一點點點的希望 看Kemp會不會回來打幾場

沒想到過了幾天 又出事了 看自己的好友手套已經拿的冠軍戒

真讓人不勝唏噓

十年前的野獸的確是令人佩服的，但十年後誰想得到會變成這樣呢…

之前玩game時，都還會抓進來試試看，但經過幾年了，對他早已心灰意冷，自己玩死自己囉…
