TO YOUTOU9999 What on Earth on you talking about???? Political basketball???? The poster was just reflecting that using "star player" to describe Yi after one good game is overhyping, and you can somehow connect his comments to being political?? And what is up with your notion that we have a thing against Chinese players?? When Yao came to Taiwan, everyone in Taiwan welcomed him, no one cared that he was from China. And your comment about if Yi was Korean or Japanese some would praise him like he was god himself..... exactly what is that comment based on???? Also your comment about how only fans in Taiwan connects basketball with politics, you are so wrong. When Croatia and Serbia were at war with each other, basketball between the two nations had a heavy basketball agenda, just look at Vlade Divac and his relationship with Drazen Petrovic. And havent you heard of the controversy surrounding this year's Euro U-18 championships when Spain accused Serbia and Lithuania of fixing matches just to knock Spain out of the semifinals???? And what about the Chinese attitude towards Taiwan basketball, dont a signicant number look down on it and view it as weak and insignificant??? Before you state any controversial comments, do some research please.
