Manu Ginobili (broken left hand) will be evaluated on Tuesday and a timeline for his absence will be determined at that time.

Assistant coach Don Newman said it would be 4-6 weeks, and it may be the case that he was guessing or that the team is waiting to confirm Newman's quote after further examination. We doubt the assessment changes much, if at all. The other piece of news here is that Gregg Popovich said that James Anderson would start "until Ginobili returns," meaning he has a bit of a leash. Additionally, look for Gary Neal (injured), rookie Kawhi Leonard (6 points) and Danny Green (9 points) to also help fill the void left by Manu's injury.
