GIE Morrow Disciples sign Daniel Bolick

The UBA media reports that the GIE Morrow Disciples agree to terms with Daniel Bolick (5'10''-PG-89,

 college: N.Carolina). The Taiwanese guard is the fifth international player taken in the UBA this season.

Bolick attend the University of North Carolina where he played for legendary coach Roy Williams . Although he played

limited minutes,Bolick had the amazing opportunity to compete against the countries best guards every day,

 said Disciples head coach D.J. Douglas .Daniel Bolick, arguably a shoe in to be a good player in the SBL (Taiwan).

Many think Bolick has the ability to be a good point guard but lacks the game experience. Believe in what we saw

when he came to camp, added Douglas. We play in the best conference in the UBA, he will be challenged daily.

How can you argue? The UBA has sent the most players overseas than any US minor league in the country. The UBA

also adds the most international athletes. Last season Dominican native Will De La Cruz (6'2''-G-80, college: Atlanta Christian)

was named UBA Import Player of the Year. After a great season De La Cruz was signed by CPN Pueblo Nuevo

(Dominican Rep.-SRT). If this is any indication of the future of Bolick, his future is bright.

Bolick will report to Atlanta, GA January 5, 2012 to prepare for the Disciples rival game versus the Tennessee Dragons.

在今天加入了美國UBA (Universal Basketball Association)職業聯賽的GIE Morrow Disciples. Daniel 預計會再明年1月5號

至球隊報到~

今年在美國UBA效力的還有去年裕隆隊洋將 Jermaine Daily, 他4場比賽下來平均有13分17籃板~表現相當搶眼,

他也將在一月離開UBA,加入委內瑞拉聯賽的 Gaiteros de Zulia~

華裔球員 Daniel Bolick 去年年底加盟UBA 的 GIE Morrow D. 沒多久之後就被交易到同組的Atalnta Assault,

在經過幾番折騰之後, 終於在上週初登板~~ 而他的第一戰就是對上一開始加盟的Morrow!

Daniel 在初登板打滿全場40分鐘 共得 8分7助攻 2籃板2抄截 0 失誤! 中率也是很不錯的6投4中~

而他的好表現也帶領球隊以 97-82擊敗先前8戰全勝的GIE Morrow !

目前除了Jeremy Lin之外 一樣在美國奮鬥的Daniel Bolick, 上週末打了再UBA的第2戰,

以先發PG的身分拿下了 11分 7助攻 4籃板 2抄截 及2失誤~ 帶領球隊以 101 - 100, 1分之差險勝對手

拿下2連勝!

Daniel Bolick 最近兩場比賽, 表現越來越穩定, 球隊戰績1勝1負 ~

對上 Georgia Lion的比賽中 Daniel 上場 30分鐘 拿下 12分 7助攻 2籃板 1抄截 2失誤

同場前裕隆洋將 捷曼 也表現相當好 全場打滿40分鐘 拿下 17分 15籃板 2助攻 ~

好歹也是跟美製後衛們磨出來的數據，實力不會遜於SBL大部分的後衛吧?
