After three seasons away from basketball, Kwame Brown,
the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft, is attempting a comeback.
Over his career, he has played for the Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers,
Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, Golden State Warriors
and Philadelphia 76ers.
Brown, 34, signed with the agency Interperformances on Monday,
announcing his intention to return to pro ball, according to Dan Devine of Yahoo Sports.
Devine speculates that Interperformances' connections in Europe
might mean the agency could line up an overseas deal for Brown
if he cannot find an NBA team.
